    I was raised in northern Ohio — true story. It was an odd town, no girls would ever leave their mother’s side. Marriage was almost impossible, but the kitchens were always clean. We called it cleave land.

    Of course in Cleveland, it is easy to be Cavalier about things, until the Browns of fall descend upon us, but sometimes, there is an Indian summer.
