Show me state parks that aren’t inspiring. Jefferson said he once came across a mountain range right by a park’s gateway, arching toward the sky. Since he was on horseback (which allowed him independence from high gas prices) he could get its full awesome visual effect. But since he had passed a spring, fields, and a river to get there, he felt it was time to go home. Well, this was at least what his pony expressed.
